Marc Savard – Comedy Hypnosis, playing at the V Theater in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino might just be the funniest Las Vegas hypnotist show. Savard is a hilarious and engaging performer, but the real draw of his show is that he turns his audience into stars who get the big laughs during each performance.
At the top of each show, the master Las Vegas hypnotist runs a quick test on the subconscious of the audience members to find out which guests are in the right frame of mind to be hypnotized. If you are selected, he brings you onstage with a large group of people and runs relaxation techniques on everyone while you sit in chairs, while explaining that you’re all musicians in an orchestra. If you’re one of the people who starts playing your fake instrument with the most passion, guess what? You’ve just been selected as a ready and willing victims for his brand of hilarious hypnosis mayhem. Get ready, because things are just going to get crazier for the rest of the show.
Savard commands you and the rest of his hypnotized guests to perform a series of increasingly ridiculous and hilarious tasks, creating crazy scenarios to which you’ll commit fully (whether you want to or not) while under his influence. As the show goes on, Savard keeps upping the ante on the scenarios he has his guests perform, culminating in a bit with a blowup doll you’ll have to see to believe.
If you just want to enjoy the whacky hijinks from your seats, you don’t have to participate or volunteer. But if you do make the cut of hypnotized “victims,” think of it as your chance to shine onstage in a Vegas headliner show, even if you’ve never thought of yourself as a performer… plus, it will give your friends and loved ones who attend the show with you priceless (and embarrassing) stories to share with everyone you know. The show also features some of the sexiest showgirls in Sin City, which is another reason to get onstage to participate (though after Marc is done making you run through a series of increasingly humiliating tasks, your chances with the showgirls will probably be slim to none).
The show gets pretty raunchy and provocative, so it’s not really for the kiddies… which is probably why the nightly performances start at 10 PM and you must be at least 18 to get into the show. For mature audiences looking for some outrageous fun, Marc Savard- Comedy Hypnosis is a fast paced and hilarious Las Vegas hypnotist show that will leave you mesmerized with laughter.
