Gene Woods Racing Experience is conveniently located right across from the airport. So that means, as soon as you touch down, you can start your own engine and take off! These specially designed go-karts will have you topping speeds as you roar around the track with the Las Vegas Strip whipping by in the horizon.
Make no mistake, this place is not your average boring go-kart spot where you just run around in circles with gasoline fumes wafting in the air. No way. The Gene Woods Racing Experience features high performance go-karts that encourage those with a competitive spirit. The track curves around about a half a mile long, giving you plenty of run time, averaging about 15-18 laps per ride.
What else would you expect from a go-kart racing spot named after the three time National Speedway Motorcycle Champion? And want to know the coolest part about it this place? Gene Woods himself is known to hang out at the track. That’s right! So if you want to hear some stories of what it’s truly like to be in NASCAR – well you just might run into him here at be able to ask him. After all, he spent 2 years in the Top Ten NASCAR Series.
While Gene Woods may have started racing before he was 10 years old, you do have to be at least 54 inches or taller to ride here.
So after watching an instructional video, you’ll be outfitted with a helmet and neck collar and then you are good to go. And if you really want to feel like a real race car driver… they even have track suits you can request to wear. Nothing like some extra sweat to make you feel the heat of the track.
