Just four miles off the strip, this one-of-a-kind experience gives you access to Casa de Shenandoah, the mansion and equestrian home of Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton.
Begin your tour of this 52-acre private ranch at Casa de Shenandoah’s Visitor Center, which includes shops and the opportunity to view a short film about the life of the legendary entertainer. You will hear personally from Wayne Newton as he shares the history of this unique place. In fact, throughout the tour there are videos of Wayne at each exhibit telling you the story behind each item. It’s a little surreal getting up close and personal with this Las Vegas legend. Eight separate homes (including Wayne’s childhood home) are on this property, along with his 60 prize winning Arabian horses.
Once through the gilded gates that serve as your entrance to a real life oasis in the middle of the Las Vegas, you will be transported in an executive style air-conditioned tour bus around the grounds of lush landscaping that include waterfalls and artesian ponds, as exotic breeds of birds roam freely, along with geese, peacocks, wallabies and swans. You might even meet Boo the Capuchin Monkey and Simon the Parrot. Next you’ll visit the private art collection which includes paintings by Van Gogh and Renoir.
Car enthusiasts will swoon at Wayne Newton’s private automobile collection. Ever been on a private jet? Well, at Casa de Shenandoah you can board Wayne’s private jet! This only happens in the entertainment capital of the world.
Casa de Shenandoah is a working ranch and the staff is warm, welcoming and super knowledgeable about the property’s history, including the amazing collection of Wayne Newton’s famous Aramus Arabian horses.
