Las Vegas’s unofficial “Ambassador of Entertainment” Tony Sacca has been performing on stages and appearing on local television in the city since he moved here in 1981. The singer, producer, TV personality, writer, and all around local icon utilizes all his talents to explore the history of his adopted city in Tony Sacca’s Vegas the Story at Bally’s.
Written by Sacca with additional material from the late, great stand-up comedy legend David Brenner, Sacca uses humor and song to explore the history of Las Vegas from the beginning of legalized gambling in the 1930s up until today. Sacca tells the whole story of Las Vegas, but puts special emphasis on the resident headliners that have made Sin City “The Entertainment Capital of the World.” Sacca tells stories about and sings the songs of legendary historic Las Vegas headliners like Elvis and The Rat Pack, while the decades spanning show also covers modern superstars like Jennifer Lopez.
Sacca is joined onstage by comedian Tom Walleck, who does pitch perfect impersonations of a number of Vegas icons. Talented singers Joelle Righetti, Amanda Kaiser, and Nellie Norris also belt out a variety of classic tunes associated with the city and its many legendary headliners. The performers are backed by a group of beautiful showgirls and a smoking band under the direction of Grammy winner Gary Anderson.
The Las Vegas icon and his talented friends tell the story of the city he’s lived in for over three decades in his funny, nostalgic, and musical production, Tony Sacca’s Vegas the Story at Bally’s.
