You’ll be treated like true royalty at Royal India Bistro at The Rio, one of the best and largest Indian restaurants in a major Las Vegas resort, which serves expertly crafted, traditional North Indian cuisine.
Located in an opulent dining room off of the main Casino floor, the restaurant is a calming escape from the hustle and bustle of the colorful and popular resort. Decorated in reds and golds, lit from above by chandeliers, and featuring authentic Indian artwork on the walls, the restaurant will truly transport you halfway across the world.
While the décor is impressive, the food is what truly makes this restaurant one fit for royalty. Many of the regional delicacies in the restaurant are prepared in the kitchen’s traditional Tandoor clay oven, which burns at 500 degrees to perfectly cook spectacular Naans, Chicken, Meat, Fish, Sheesh Kabob and Vegetable dishes.
Signatures of the house include starters such as Vegetable Samosas, Paneer Pakoras, Bombay Chicken Wings, and Raita. Entrees include Tandoori dishes such as Chicken marinated in Yogurt Spices, Lamb Shish Kebabs, and Tandoori Prawns. Other traditional options include the ever popular Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Lamb Masala, Prawn Vindaloo, Goa Shrimp, Goat Masala, and vegetarian dishes such as Bengan Bhartha, Vegetable Masala, and Saag Paneer. Biryani Rice dishes can be served with Prawns, Chicken, Goat, Veggies, or Pulauo, while Tandoori warmed breads include plain, Garlic, or Kashmiri Naan, Onion Kulcha, Poori, or the delicious Pancer Paratha (whole wheat bread filled with Farmer’s Cheese).
If you’re having trouble choosing what to eat or are unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, the four Complete Dinner options might be just what you’re looking for. These selections offer guests the chance to try a variety of the restaurant’s diverse offerings, and there’s even a Vegetarian option. If you dine at the restaurant during lunch hours, you’ll have even more options as the Bistro offers a full Indian buffet from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM every day.
The restaurant also serves a great selection of popular Indian beverages, including Mango Lassi (a Yogurt Drink with a sweet Mango flavor) Masala Chai Tea, and a full selection of Wines and Imported Indian Beers for those looking for something a little stronger. Top off your meal with a refreshing traditional Indian dessert to cool your palette after experiencing the diverse spices in your meal.
Royal India Bistro lives up to its name by serving up a diverse selection of traditional North Indian cuisine in an opulent space where customers will feel like true royalty.
