Lupo by Wolfgang Puck was the famous chef’s first Italian restaurant, and Puck brought his signature inventiveness to traditional Italian fare to a restaurant that has become a Vegas staple since it opened over a decade ago.
The gorgeous restaurant is designed to resemble a street cafe in Italy with indoor and patio seating. The warm chocolate brown and white interior features large columns and an open wood beam ceiling, while warm lighting fills the dining room to create a romantic effect. You can watch chefs busily preparing your food at their exhibition pizza, antipasto and dessert stations. You can also check out the glass-encased section where pasta is made fresh daily and the giant see-through wine room right near the bar.
Delicious appetizers include spicy clams, prime beef Carpaccio and Caprese salad. Entrées include fresh seafood pastas, steaks, chops, and seafood “boards,” which are pieces of fish like salmon, striped bass or Alaskan halibut cooked on a wood plank that brings out their flavor. Other signature dishes include frutti di mare risotto with sea scallops, shrimp and clams and Wolfgang’s famous pizza with traditional Italian toppings given a twist and cooked in a wood-burning oven you can watch while you’re enjoying your appetizer.
