Top of the World Restaurant
Top of the World Restaurant in The Stratosphere provides spectacular views of The Las Vegas Strip along with equally spectacular contemporary American cuisine for a one of a kind dining experience.
The amazing restaurant is located 800 feet above The Las Vegas Strip and rotates slowly, completing a full 360 degree revolution over the course of an hour and twenty minutes. As you enjoy your meal, you can get a full panoramic view of the beautiful Vegas skyline through the restaurant's floor to ceiling windows.
The food is equally breathtaking, as the Executive Chef presents a fantastic menu of contemporary American cuisine like seafood and steak, with an added twist of French influences. If you're feeling adventurous, sample the three or even six course tasting menu for a sky-high culinary journey. First course specialties include Duck Ravioli Confit with Foie Gras (a decadent pasta stuffed with apples and duck and topped with seared Foie Gras, sauteed leeks, and truffles) or the Shrimp Cocktail (chilled shrimp with white asparagus and saffron aioli). Second course options include a great selection of soups and salads, including a delicious cognac fortified Lobster Bisque.
Your entree choices include a wide variety of a la carte beef, fresh seafood, poultry and more. Highly recommended favorites include Wild Caught King Salmon di Parma (wrapped in sage and prosciutto and served over caramelized pears and topped by a beurre blanc sauce), the Filet Mignon (cooked in a cabernet mushroom sauce), the signature Colorado Rack of Lamb and the Seared Muscovy Duck Breast with Orange and Lime Hoisin Sauce.
The wine selection is deep and impressive, and has been praised by magazines like Wine Spectator and Sante'. Your server can recommend the perfect bottle or glass to pair with whatever entree you choose.
If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll be pleased with the restaurant's dessert selection, which includes White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Creme Brulee, Cheesecake Lollipops, Banana Bread Pudding and Flourless Lava Cake. But if you're feeling inspired by your 360 panoramic view, try the truly indulgent Chocolate Stratosphere, a detailed recreation of the tower you'll be dining in, filled with rich and sinful Belgium chocolate mousse.
If you're not done enjoying the spectacular Strip views, you can head up to the Romance Lounge after your meal. The lounge offers perfectly mixed cocktails, live musical performances and another vantage point to take in the breathtaking and romantic view of the Vegas skyline.
If you're looking for a Las Vegas meal that provides food and views that are equally spectacular, then head to The Top of the World Restaurant for a one of a kind gourmet experience in the sky.
