35 Steaks + Martinis fits into The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s theme perfectly, as the modern and sexy Las Vegas Steakhouse boasts many subtle and classy references to rock and roll history.
The restaurant’s very name is a subtle nod to the King of Rock n Roll, as Elvis Presley was born in 1935. Beautiful black and white photos from rock history hang on the walls, dishes, specialty cocktails, and wines are named after rock icons, and quotes from famous musicians are engraved on the back of the dessert menu. The coolly modern restaurant features a two level dining room with silver and marble walls and rich chocolate brown columns, all of which is lit from above by beautiful chrome-plated chandeliers.
The menu features a collection of rock star worthy selections, including starters such as mohawk Crab Cakes, Foie Gras, Lobster Bisque, Beet Salad, 35 Tartare, Drunken Mussels, and broiled Colossal Tiger Prawns. Entrees include Pan-Roasted Chicken, lAMB Duo, Ahi Tuna Tataki, and 2 pounds of King Crab Legs, while Steakhouse favorites include New York Strip, Bone-In Filet Mignon, Kansas City Strip, Veal Chop, and the restaurant’s signature dish, the massive Tomahawk 35 Oz. Popular sides include Chipotle Cream Corn, Sauteed Asparagus, “35” Fries, Smashed Red Potatoes, Mac n’ Extra Cheese, and Succotash.
The restaurant carries a great selection of Wines, including bottles inspired by classic rock bands. As the restaurant’s name implies, the mixologists are as adept at making great martinis as the chefs are at cooking a great Steak, with house specialties like the Spicy Serrano Martini. Decadent desserts include Crème Brulee, Chocolate Torte, and Lemon Cake.
35 Steaks + Martinis is a classy, cool, and offbeat Steakhouse that serves perfectly crafted steaks and cocktails while paying loving yet subtle homage to rock and roll history.
